Mustard Seed

I read something about the mustard seed Gospel passage on this site: http://www.mass-schedules.com/

Unfortunately, they update everyday so I can't retrieve it.

Anyway, the point of the reflection was that once a mustard seed was planted in our souls, it transforms us without our even knowing it. And before you know it, the seed has become a big tree. Before we know it, we are transformed.

This gives us encouragement to pray even during the dry spells of prayer. Sometimes I imagine that prayer time is like walking into God's operating room and getting anesthetized. God works on you while you sleep or dream and you don't know exactly what he's doing or how he's changed you. When you wake up, it may seem like nothing has changed  and you wasted 15-30 minutes daydreaming. But he does work on you.
